Rew Reed started Rew Auto Services Ltd in 2003 after buying out a previous garage. Since then the business has grown from a small wokshop and one man operation, into a 2000 sq/ft workshop with full MOT facilies, two service ramps and tyre bay. Having moved to our current location in Lavant, in 2007 from Oving road in Chichester, it was obvious that another skilled pair of hands was required. Matt Langton was that man and he soon became a key member of the team.
Staff Skills
After leaving school, Rew plunged head first into the world of work. He secured an apprenticeship at a local Rover dealer and spent five years learning his craft from some of the best technicians around. A move to Chichester District Council saw Rew becoming an MOT tester and HGV mechanic. An upwards step came after five years at the council, seeing Rew become a field engineer for a local HGV repairer. He covered the southern area working mainly on his own and having to deal with customers on a face to face level. This customer management experience was to become invaluable when setting up Rew Auto Services, and customer satisfaction is still Rews' number one aim.
Matt Langton left school and became a qualified brick layer, but soon the lure of oil and grease overtook the cement dust and Matt took his first steps into the car industry. Tyres were calling Matt and he took a position as a tyre fitter at a local garage. Tiring of just fitting tyres he took a job at Carringdale Vauxhall and soon became an accomplished Vauxhall technician, gaining Vauxhall accreditation and Senior Technician status. Now a move to Rew Auto Services has seen Matt become an invaluable member of the team and his skills and knowledge are a considerable asset.
Jamie Rose joined Rew Auto Services after spending two years working at a Skoda main dealer. Jamie started his career with an apprenticeship at Vauxhall and is a fully trained Vauxhall technician. Jamie brings a depth of knowledge to our team with over ten years experience in the trade. Jamie grew up in Bognor Regis, has a passion for Formula, enjoys playing football and gaming on the Xbox during his spare time.
All in all Rew Auto Services has over forty years of vehicle knowledge and experience. This teamed with a passion to give each and every customer our upmost attention and full satisfaction, we believe that Rew Auto Services is the right choice for the customer who is looking for value for money and a 'right first time' repair.
